Foreword:

Testrite has recently celebrated 40 years as a registered company. It was originally operated from a coach house situated in the heart of what was the textile area of the industrial north - Halifax, in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Over recent years the company has flourished and now sells worldwide the Textile Testing Equipment that it manufactures.

The Textile Testing Equipment, which is all produced in our own works, include the now famous Patent Heat Shrinkage Testers which were originally designed in conjunction with the Tyre Technical Division of Dunlop Rubber Limited. The latest model Shrinkage Testers are designated as A.S.T.M. Standard Test etc. There is a wide range of equipment now available including Strength Testers, Twist Testers, Wrap Reels, Martindale Wear and Abrasion Testers, Taper Board Yarn Examiners, Pilling Testers etc. No machines are sold under license by any other manufacturers.

Customers have the opportunity of purchasing either from our Agents who are situated in the Netherlands/Belgium, U.S.A./Canada, South Africa, Germany, Portugal etc., or directly from our base in Halifax,England..
